Feliz Cinco de Mayo! Before we get started on the celebrations, let’s have a quick history lesson on the holiday that’s so popular in the United States. For those of you that may not know, Cinco de Mayo is a national holiday in Mexico that commemorates the Mexican victory over the French in a town called Puebla.

Now that you know the gist of the holiday, celebrate by trying our Fiesta Fruit Cup!

Fruits that you’ll need are watermelons, mangoes, jicama, and cucumbers (you can include as much fruit as you want, the more the merrier!). Cut up all the fruit into little cubes and mix them in a cup. If you’re feeling a little daring add some lemon and chile to top off your fiesta.

Leave us a comment below and let us know what other fruits you included in your Fiesta Fruit Cup!
