You have probably heard about the benefits of yoga for adults, but did you know that yoga is also wonderful for kids too? It’s a great way to get them moving, stretching, and having fun.

There is no competition in yoga, and anyone at any fitness level can take part. If some poses are not accessible for some kids, be sure to let them know that there are many modifications to accommodate everybody.

Not only does yoga provide physical benefits through poses, Practicing yoga teaches kids:

  • Patience
  • Focus
  • Mindfulness
  • Compassion
  • Self-acceptance
