We are excited for the coming of this new year as it gives us a sense of one chapter of life closing and a brand-new beginning. Some of us have traditional foods we enjoy having on New Year’s Day, such as black-eyed peas, greens, or in Spain, it is considered good luck in the new year to eat 12 grapes right at midnight. If you and your kids will be awake and celebrating, this is an exciting, healthy way to ring in the new year. We especially love frozen grapes. Just freeze green grapes for 24 hours before you plan to eat them and enjoy!! Something to enjoy with your frozen green grapes to keep things festive with the kids is a green sparkling water so they can have a festive, fun healthy beverage.
