Many studies have shown the bad effects of sitting too much. Even small breaks in sitting can make a big difference on your health. Here are some easy ways to do some small activities that may help prevent an early grave!

  1. Get up and stretch
  2. Shake your leg while you are sitting
  3. Forget the chair and stand (at the sports game, at the beach, etc)
  4. Flex! If you are driving a lot and get stop to stretch or move, just flex your leg muscles while sitting.

Whether you are in an office, driving, or stuck at home there is always time and ways to be active and prevent the negative effects of sitting for too long.
