The majority of people who make New Year’s resolutions gear their goals towards becoming healthier in the upcoming year. This is a great idea, but at times can fizzle out after just a month or even a few weeks. Here at ‘Serving Kids Hope’ we urge you to create a resolution you feel is manageable and promotes a lifestyle change that will last for years. Focus on the small things, like spending more time with your family by being physically active together and having healthy meals together more often. Designate time during your day or week to do physical activity with everyone such as a bike ride, soccer game, play time at the park, walk the dog and so much more.  Play games at home that incorporate some movement such as twister, building an obstacle course or challenging each other to some exercises. These types of resolutions not only help you, but unite family and friends to be healthy and happy.

Happy New Year!
